Step 1 - Sufi Ramadhan Secrets and Gems by ~ Sajad Ali ~

How to enter Ramadhan firstly, take a Ghusl-bath with niyyah-intention to wash all your sins away and make firm niyyah-intention to cleanse inwardly and outwardly your souls.

A Sufi secret from Shaykh Abdal Qadir Jilani; "Every night of Ramadhan read 1st verse of surah Fath frequently; "Inna Fa-tahna laka fath-hum-mubeena"- (We have surely given you a signal victory 48:1) and whoever reads that will receive a guarantee of safekeeping for the whole year. So read it frequently"

Eat wise and healthy; eat porridge, Bananas, oranges, fruits of all kind vitamin C tablets alot of water, yes smoothies too. And keep clear from all fried food, when breaking the fast, eat Dates and Milk, Milk lines the stomach thus protects and keeps you healthy then pray and then eat more food.

***Ramadan Duaa, and Advice from the Habaib***
To read Surah Fath on the first night of Ramadan, make ghusl and intend to fast for the entire month as Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala gazes upon His slaves on this night.

To break ones fast at Iftar with 3, 5 or 7 dates in preparation for the night of Laylatul-Qadr.

Recite Quran by day and by night.

Pray 20 rakahs of tarawih.

Control the tongue during the day.

In the last ten nights recite the dua of the Prophet sallalahu alaiyhi wasalam much – Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul afwa fa’fu anna.

Observe the suhoor even if it is little.

Don’t argue or dispute with others (especially in the last 10 days).

If Jumuah falls on an odd night in the last 10 days, bring it to life as it is likely that it is the night of Laylatul Qadr.

If one goes to the masjid, make an intention for i’tikaaf to increase ones reward.

When you enter the masjid, make an oath to pray 20 rakahs/i’tikaaf, it now becomes wajib for you to complete this oath and the reward is seventy times more for performing a wajib.

It is a duty upon you to meet this month with happiness and thankfulness.

May Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala accept of us our Ramadan, and look upon us with a gaze of mercy. Ameen
